A. A. KNIGHT, farmer, Section 36, Township 15, range 24, P. O. Louisburg, was born in Susquehanna County, Pa., March 26, 1827. He was brought up a farmer; when seventeen years of age he moved to LaSalle County, Ill., where he resided till February, 1879, whenhecame to Kansas and settled in the township of Wea. He was married in Illinois, February 20, 1856, to Miss Eliza, daughter of Daniel Post. Mrs. Knight was born in the State of New York. They have four children, the eldest, Arthur, died aged three years; Orson A., Edward L. and Cora, the latter died aged seven years. Mr. Knight has a well watered and fertile farm of 320 acres.
