After the death of Ismael Dunn of Spalding County, Georgia, the court ordered an inventory be taken of his estate, including the slaves he owned.  Abstracts from the 1870 federal census of Spalding County show that several of the remained there after the Civil War ended.  Source: Spalding County, Georgia Inventories and Appraisments, Volume 1, Pages 185-187.
